I'll go to this restaurant if I'm pressed for time, if not, I'll look elsewhere. The food is greasy most of the times, although it tastes quite okay. I like the House special Fried Rice the most and the Chicken COld Noodle. I have tried the Mongolian Beef and the sweet and sour pork, and it doesn't impress me much...
But it's cheap though.. that's the best part...
Another downpart of this restaurant is that they only accept cash. Bummer...
While there is decent space for a sit-down meal, the ambiance is not really conducive to a nice sit-down style meal; the food, however, is excellent and extremely inexpensive. As someone who has grown up to some great at-home Asian cooking, I'd say Green Village has done a good job reproducing home-cooked Asian meals without a lot of frills but with a lot of flavor. During the work week, take your lunch to go and you might not mind eating lunch at your desk as much as usual.
Nice place for take-out or dine it. It can be a bit greasy, but overall quite tasty. The fried rice is good as well as the brocolli beef. I would avoid the General's chicken, it was not the best.
This place has alot of affordable food and is actually quite good. I recommend any of the fried rice. It's slightly different from the regular fried rice (a little more soy sauce maybe?) and is very good! I don't recommend the chow mein. It's the americanized stuff and was not good at all. They used cabbage, carrots, and onions for their vegetable chow mein. Not exactly what I would expect when I ask for vegetable. All the other dishes are great though, especially the black bean sauce chicken and sauteed shredded pork. All the dishes come with the soup of the day and white rice (except the chow mein and fried rice). The soup of the day has always been hot and sour soup. I don't think they do any other soup.
