If you live in Seattle and have never tried Judy Fu's food then you are definitely missing out. Hers is some of the best Chinese food I have ever had (outside of China itself).

I LOVE Judy Fu's! I really do. The main attraction for me is the homemade noodles you can opt for in your chow mein, they are fabulous, and very addictive! Quite the comfort food. The portions are very large, and the food is far and away the best chinese I have EVER had the pleasure of eating. Judy Fu's has a small, but ever growing devoted following, and each time I go, the restaurant has more and more people in it. I recommend anything you can get the homemade noodles in, and also the fresh, handmade spring rolls.

If you're lucky, you might get to see Judy Fu herself making her famous dumplings at a little counter in the restaurant. Her homemade noodles and dumplings are an addiction you'll treasure, and the dumpling dipping sauce is so popular that you can now buy bottles of it in the restaurant and in local grocery stores! Yum - goes great on just about anything. And I second another reviewer's crispy eggplant recommendation. It's more like candy than food, and it'll change the mind of any eggplant-hater. Give Snappy Dragon a try for unique and hearty Chinese food.

As mentioned in my "title" of this review, SD's hot and sour soup is amazing. Usually I find that kind of soup a bit "funky" but there's none of that, just goodness, in their soup!
I highly recommend the crispy eggplant and the green beans as well.
Helpful hint: if you get a quart of hot and sour soup to go, put it on the floor of your car and it will still be hot when you get home, an hour away!
