I love this place! The Beancurd w/ Chef's special sauce is amazing! So is the salt 'n pepper prawn. But don't stop there, 'cause the other items tasted great too. It can be a bit pricey, especially compared to the other restaurants in Chinatown, but you got good quality food. <br />And the place itself is clean and very tidy, just like a 'normal' restaurant.

This is, by far, the best Chinese restaurant in Seattle. Good food with exciting flavors. Do not miss the Crispy Shrimp in Sweet Chili Sauce and the Hand Shaven Barley Green Noodles. Both are signature dishes and never dissapoint.

I don't know what is different about Shanghai Garden, but their food is a step above the rest of the Chinese in the area. The mu-shu is great, it comes with big pieces of mushrooms and lots of meat. The orange flavor beef is also really good. All of the lunch specials are delicious. There are also some interesting 'health' items on the menu, that I have not had the guts to try...

The food in this place is what some would consider bland, but I think it's because the Shanghai people just don't use as many spices as other Asians. This place will make you feel like you are eating healthier, but I'm not sure if that is true or not. It is a popular restuarant, but I personally do not like it and will probably not go back again.

Shanghai Garden is absolutely the best Chinese restaurant in Seattle. I haven't had one dish that has disappointed me. The shrimp are massive, the handmade chow mein noodles are delicious, and the hot and sour soup is unforgettable. They've even managed to make tofu taste good - try the 14 flavored bean curd. Be prepared to wait in line during lunch hour, it's not exactly a secret that the food is so good.
