Il Bacio recently changed owners, and with that change came their attempt to "internationalize" the cuisine. They've added things like gravalax and oysters rocafeller to their menu-- A menu known for being traditionally Italian! The food was way way too salty, and their "changes" to the menu were unwelcome (I went there to have eat Italian food. Not gravalax!). The tiramisu tasted like cheescake with a whole lot of rum. Far worse than the food however is the change in the name. They're now calling the place "A Kiss of Italy." <br /> <br />I'm so sad to see one of my very favorite eastside resturants go to the dogs. <br /> <br />

It's the best Italian restaraunt in the greater Seattle area.

A great place to go for a special occasion without having to drive into Seattle. Excellent food, charming ambience (despite the strip-mall location), and educated and gracious staff.
