La Rustica is a little hidden gem ... located just past Alki point and away from the craziness of Alki beach.<p>The ambiance is perfect, the service is great and the food is incredible ... just be prepared to wait since they do not take reservations.<p>Also ... call ahead as I believe they are closed on Mondays.

This restaurant is located near the beach in a quite neighborhood in West Seattle. It is a small, intimate place that is always busy. Reservations are not accepted, so be prepared to wait. There is outside seating the summer on a small, flower filled patio. <p>The food and the service is exceptional. Their appetizers are the great, the tomato bruchetta is the best I have had - anywhere! The nightly specials are great, though the entrees are pretty pricy at ~$20. They also have very good pasta and pizzas that are under ~13 which make this place great for a affordable meals as well as for fancy occasions.

If you actually get a table (really small dining area), this place is great. Be prepared to wait or go really early. The one special I had there was unimpressive but I have always enjoyed the regular dishes. The place feels intimate and subdued-- used to be a house. Atmosphere would have received a 5 rating but if the weather is bad, the only place to wait is a strange, tiny back room that also happens to be where the mops are stored.
